This is a skills-based, story-driven camporee built around one idea:
Daylight prepares the camp. Night tests it.
Patrols will train, build, navigate, and compete through structured daytime challenges designed to sharpen real Scout skills — leadership, first aid, pioneering, navigation, marksmanship, and teamwork under pressure.
Competition officially begins Saturday mid-day.
However, Saturday morning offers optional skill intensives in Orienteering and Pioneering. Patrols who attend may recognize significant advantages later — especially after dark.
After sunset, the experience changes.
Signal hunts. Night navigation. Moving in the woods. Leadership fatigue. Immersive competitive scenarios.
The most important challenges unfold in the dark; the program concludes with a camp-wide night game and campfire, ending before midnight. Quiet time is 00:00 and lights out 00:30.
This event is designed to challenge older Scouts, test patrol cohesion, and reward preparation.
Arrive Friday night — or very early Saturday — to be fully prepared.
Registration closed on 15 October 2026. The fee covered camping and insurance, cracker barrel Friday and Saturday, Saturday dinner, and a T-shirt and patch.
